Overview

The Indigenous Leadership Development Institute Inc. delivers courses throughout the year in partnership with leading educational institutions and facilitators. The courses offered are based on needs identified by Indigenous Leaders and planners, and represent a unique educational opportunity for participants to ready themselves for the challenges of self-governance.

Courses participants are typically band chiefs, band councilors, administrators, and senior executives of Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations.

Whenever possible, courses are fully or partially sponsored by public or private partners, and are thus offered at very reasonable rates. Organizations that purchase an annual registration for $250.00 will enjoy the following benefits:

• reduced session fee of $99.00 plus GST
• access to our annual report
• access to research papers and other reports
• invitation to ALI Inc. special events
• e-mail notification of upcoming sessions and special events

The cost for each session for a non-registered participant is $400.00.

By actively promoting good governance…by identifying needed training…and by providing unique educational and skill-building opportunities…we help prepare Indigenous people for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
